NATURAL HUES AND COLORS FOR YOUR EYES

MAKEUP LOOK KRISTINA TI AUTUMN/ WINTER 2013 /2014

Beautiful skin is number one again this season. Skin care and lifestyle are good foundations for shiny and healthy skin. The trick is to create beautiful skin. Minimize the use of foundation as much as possible, it really is no longer necessary.

Foundation must really no more!

For the makeup in Kristina Ti’s Autumn/Winter 2013 / 2014 show, Clio, the artist of Maybelline completely omitted the use of foundation. “I want the skin of the girls to be radiant. The skin should be shiny and beautiful. ” To achieve this effect Clio used a type of BB cream that is applied on the skin with bare fingers. This is something that you can try at home. Clio went without powder to bring out the shine in this look. If you suffer from a shiny skin, then you could use a little powder, but use it on your T-zone.

Bright colors for the eyes

For the eyes, Clio chose matte dove-gray as the base color. This color is a perfect base for your every-day makeup. Apply the eyeshadow on the moving part of your eyelids.

You can brighten your look with bright colors. Clio chose red, sea green and yellow for this show. She brought the color out in the inner corners of the eyes, and made a stripe pattern on the outer corners to represent the theme of the collection- “Microorganisms”. The idea of using bright colors for the eyes is one you can easily imitate. To make it more practical, we could replace the bright eyeshadow with a brightly colored eyeliner. Complete the look with mascara.

Let your lips look natural, as in the pictures. Clio used just a little cocoa butter mixed with camouflage product for the models’ lips.

You see that the base for this makeup is very natural and very easy to create. Whether or not bright colors make you look great depends on your mood!
